PVD
PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology is a continuous deposition treatment in special vacuum chambers of thin metallic and ceramic films, carried out by evaporation or sputtering. Ions are attracted to the metal surface, forming the coating layer.
As a result of this physical process, the treated surface, in addition to increasing its abrasion and corrosion resistance characteristics, becomes extremely performant in terms of high reflection or high light absorption, while remaining unchanged over time.
The PVD treatment process is carried out by Almeco in the state-of-the-art facility in Bernburg, Germany.
