Entrepreneurs for three generations

The Almeco Group has been an expression, since its establishment, of the commitment and vision of the Fiorentini and Visigalli families, now in their third entrepreneurial generation. The combination of family ownership and management enables the Almeco Group to play a leading role on the international stage in metal surface treatments.
The company Visigalli & Fiorentini is formed, a company that specializes in the mechanical processing of aluminum sheet metal and the production of reflectors, subsequently assuming the corporate name Citor.
Sacall is born, with the installation ofthe first automatic plant for electrolytic brightening and continuous anodizing, in addition to a specialized plant for processing small size reflectors or those made of special alloys.
In Sacall, the second continuous anodizing line is installed to increase production capacity and give more efficient service to the market.
From the merger between Citor and Sacall comes Almeco S.p.A., to synergistically leverage the company operations and optimize activities comuni.
ALMECO INTERNATIONAL TRADING (SHANGHAI) CO. LTD is established.
Founded in 2005 in one of the most highly industrialized areas, the office serves as a business hub and distribution center for semi-finished products for the Asian market.
In Almeco’s new German production facility, vega is being developed, PVD aluminium with very high reflection for lighting and solar applications.
Almeco GmbH is established.
With theacquisition of Satma from multinational Alcan, ALmeco enters the decorative and bandoxaldecor is born.
Almeco structures itself as an industrial group and expands its product range in the solar application sector, through the acquisition of the well-known brandTinox.
Almeco Group consolidates by acquiring a service center for the marketing of pretreated metals to supply the NAFTA market located in Atlanta, Georgia: here Almeco USA, Inc. is established.
reflect+A, the first range of PVD aluminum reflectors, deleveoped by Almeco, is launched

ALMECO WORLDWIDE
An Italian group, leader in the world
Global strategic vision and local operational approach: the Almeco Group’s international organization responds to this goal. More than 200 people worldwide are serving customers, working with a business network spread across more than 60 countries.
The group’s main functions are located in the Italian office. In the large industrial complex treatments of andoizing and selective coating take place used for products destined to the architectural and interior design, decorative and lighting sectors.
Opened in 2006, the German plant produces metal surfaces (aluminium and copper) with very highreflectivity, Surface coated with vacuum PVD physical treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), destined to the lighting solar e electronics market, and highly selective for heat generation absorbing surfaces.
Acquired in 2010, the U.S. facility operates, due to its strategic geographic positioning, as afinal processing center for semi-finished products for the NAFTA market, with cutting and flattening equipment and a modern laboratory for optical and chemical tests, aligned with the Group standards.
Established in 2005 in one of the most highly industrialized areas, the office serves as a distribution center for semi-finished products produced in the group’s European plants for the Asian market.
