A special high-emissivity finish
The use of climate control panels is based on the principle of radiation. Cooling/heating coils are hidden behind the climate control panel that functions as a heat exchanger: while in summer the panel absorbs heat from the environment and transfers it to the cold water circulating in the coils, in winter vice versa the heat circulating in the pipes is radiated into the room, without air movement or noise, ensuring comfort with a uniform temperature gradient.
For this particular application, Almeco has developed a special anodized aluminium high emissivity surface, used in products in the bxε range, which has a particular reflectance spectrum determined by the oxide layer and its thickness.
