  1. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING PURCHASE PROPOSALS

The presentation of Products on the Website constitutes an invitation to offer.

All prices are exclusive of applicable VAT and any shipping costs.

Languages: The User may choose between Italian and English for navigating the Website, preparing the purchase proposal, concluding the contract, and for related communications.

To purchase one or more Products, the User must first log into their account, select the desired items one by one, add them to the shopping cart, and then submit the purchase proposal (“order”).

It is specified that completing the steps required for order submission, as outlined below, does not constitute a binding or enforceable agreement for Almeco until the proposal is accepted.

Below are the necessary steps to place an order on the Website:

1st Step (01 CART)

After selecting and adding one or more Products to the cart, click on the VIEW CART button, which also displays the number of selected items.

A summary page will then appear, listing the selected products along with:
(i) the quantity of pieces/kilograms for each item,
(ii) the number of days required to prepare the goods,
(iii) the price of each item and the total price, excluding VAT if applicable,
(iv) shipping costs calculated based on the Buyer’s pre-set address, as well as any personalized commercial discount for the customer.

If an order includes multiple types of items with different preparation times (as indicated on each product’s page), the overall order preparation time will be determined by the item with the longest processing time.

No partial shipments of individual products within the same order will be made.

To proceed to the next screen, the Buyer must click on the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button.

2nd Step (02 EXPRESS CHECKOUT)

In this section, the delivery address for the products (previously saved under the MY ACCOUNT section) will appear. Alternatively, the Buyer can enter a new address by clicking on the + NEW ADDRESS button.

Based on the selected address, the website will automatically calculate the shipping costs.

The Buyer may also provide additional information relevant to the delivery of the goods.

Alternatively, the Buyer may choose to arrange direct pickup of the goods (EXW/Ex Works Almeco warehouse) at Almeco’s facility. In this case, no shipping costs will be applied.

The screen will display a summary of the total price of the products in the cart, including any applicable shipping costs (excluding VAT) and any personalized commercial discount for the customer. It will also show the final total and the available payment methods.

If payment is made via bank transfer, the screen will also indicate the deadline by which the transfer must be completed. If the payment is not received within this timeframe, Almeco will no longer be able to accept the purchase proposal, unless specific exceptions apply.

After reading and accepting the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as the specific clauses listed therein pursuant to Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, the Buyer may submit the purchase proposal by clicking the PLACE ORDER button.

3rd Step ORDER SUMMARY: THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER

At this point, a screen will appear showing the purchase proposal number and informing the Buyer that a summary email of the submitted order will be sent.

The screen will also feature a PRINT RECEIPT button, allowing the Buyer to view, save, and print the order summary immediately.

APPROVAL PROCESS FOR THE PURCHASE PROPOSAL

Upon receipt of the purchase proposal, Almeco will send the Buyer a summary email with the subject “Almeco eShop Order Summary”, containing:

  • The order number,
  • The order details (products, cost, shipping/pickup location, preparation time for the goods, payment terms),
  • A link to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale included in the email.

The Order Summary serves only as a confirmation of receipt of the purchase proposal, which will then undergo a verification and evaluation process.

Following the verification, if payment is made via bank transfer, Almeco will send the Buyer an email with a pro forma invoice, including banking details and payment terms.

Please note that the issuance of the pro forma invoice does not constitute and should not be interpreted as acceptance of the order by Almeco. Order acceptance will be communicated via email only after the receipt of the required payment, in accordance with Article 3, section “2nd Step (02 Express Checkout)”. Only at that point will the contract be considered finalized.

Regardless of the chosen payment method, the contract will be deemed concluded only when Almeco sends the order confirmation email, which serves as an official acceptance of the Buyer’s purchase proposal.

The order acceptance email will include an order summary and an indication of the goods’ preparation time.

Subsequently, the Almeco Logistics Team will send the Buyer detailed information regarding the pickup or shipment of the goods.

  1. ORDER HISTORY AND RELATED CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENTATION

In their private area, under the MY ACCOUNT section, the Buyer can review the history of all their orders, along with their respective details.

In the same section, the Buyer can also access the General Terms and Conditions of Sale governing each order.

These details and documents can be downloaded and printed at any time by the Buyer.

It is strongly recommended that Buyers download all contractual documentation before requesting Almeco to close their account.
